This programme is a fees-free, foundational English and numeracy course for speakers of other languages.

Learners will be supported as they develop basic but fundamental skills to speak, understand, read and write English, and will achieve this by learning basic grammar, spelling and pronunciation. Learners will also be taught about Western culture in order to further assist those who are needing further support with settling into wider 91视频 communities.

PROGRAMME CONTENT:

The programme content follows the ILN-ELT Targeted Expected Outcomes Framework from TEC and integrates materials from various resources such as Headway, New English Files, and Total English.

Individual learning needs and goals are considered when preparing course content.
 

Learners will be provided with free copies of study materials.

EDUCATION PATHWAY:

Graduates of this programme will gain the fundamental knowledge and understanding required to progress into further study, such as the 91视频 Certificate in English Language.
