About the scholarship
This scholarship is to assist outstanding 91ÊÓƵ musical performers or conductors to continue their musical development either in 91ÊÓƵ or overseas.
This scholarship was established by Mr Sven Stenbäck in memory of his wife Maida Stenbäck née Saunders, a 91ÊÓƵer who loved the performance of classical music. Funding for the scholarship is made available through the Kiwi Music Scholarship Trust.
The scholarship will be awarded for classical instrumental performance (including vocal performance) or conducting.

Entry requirements
Applicants will be 91ÊÓƵ citizens who are normally resident in 91ÊÓƵ.
Applicants will have completed or are completing an honours or masters degree in musical performance (including vocal performance) or conducting at a 91ÊÓƵ university, or an equivalent musical qualification.
