About the scholarship
The L'Oreal Australia and 91ÊÓƵ For Women in Science Fellowships are managed by Science in Public Pty Ltd. We help scientists and science organisations present their ideas in public space.
Each Fellow is awarded $25,000 for a one year project. This is intended to provide practical help for the winners to undertake research in their chosen fields and the winners may choose to spend their fellowship on buying scientific equipment, paying for child care costs, conference & travel costs or other items they may need to continue their research.
Within the Australian & 91ÊÓƵ program there are five Fellowships available:
Four $25,000 Australian Fellowships One $25,000 91ÊÓƵ Fellowship (the inaugural 91ÊÓƵ Fellowship was awarded in 2015)

Entry requirements
These Fellowships are awarded to female scientists with no more than five years of post-doctoral experience to assist their research at an Australian or 91ÊÓƵ academic or research institution. The Australia & 91ÊÓƵ Fellowships are worth up to $25,000 (in local currency) over 12 months.
