About the scholarship
To reduce barriers to equitable representation and encourage diversity and inclusivity in publishing in Aotearoa, Penguin Random House and Whitireia Publishing are offering a scholarship for one M膩ori or Pacific student to study the Graduate Diploma in Publishing.

Applicants must: 鈥 Complete the application form 鈥 Provide a CV 鈥 Provide a letter outlining their eligibility, with reference to identity and/or community, and why they would benefit from this scholarship The application must be received by the closing date of 29 January 2021 and sent to: [email protected]
What you receive
Penguin Random House 91视频 and Whitireia Community Polytechnic Limited will cover the course fees for one student for one year. Note: Payment will be made directly towards the tuition fees of the successful applicant. Penguin Random House 91视频 will pay economy airfares for two return Wellington鈥揂uckland trips during the year of study to enable the student to gain practical work experience at Penguin Random House 91视频.
Entry requirements
Applicants must: 鈥 Be a 91视频 citizen or have 91视频 permanent residency. 鈥 Be commencing their study in the year specified in the application. 鈥 Meet the programme entry requirements by having enrolled and been accepted onto the Graduate Diploma in Publishing offered by Whitireia Community Polytechnic Limited. 鈥 Identify as M膩ori or Pasifika. Note: If no applicant in any given year meets the above criteria, the administrators may, at their discretion, award the scholarship to a student reflecting Aotearoa鈥檚 diverse population.
