About the scholarship
This bursary arises from a fund established in 1975 as a memorial to Margaret Richards, a member of the University staff from 1960 to 1975. It is for someone who wants to or is studying the Bachelor of Arts (English), Bachelor of Communication (Expressive Arts) or a postgraduate qualification with a focus on English.
Entry requirements
You must be studying in a specific subject area. Include the following with your application: * your CV * a supporting statement on your current financial need * a budget outlining your annual expenses and any predicted earnings, including any awards and scholarships held to date. When choosing our recipient, we will consider your financial need and academic achievements. We may also consider other scholarships or bursaries you hold. This bursary may not be granted each and every year.
