About the scholarship
Maniototo Lions offer an annual scholarship up to $2000 for aspiring young agricultural students to assist with their studies to help them enter the sheep and beef industry or a similar field in the agricultural sector.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in any of the following fields: - Veterinary Science Degree; - Animal Science Degrees; - Agriculture and Horticulture Degrees. The successful applicant will demonstrate some academic merit, a real commitment to their current studies and be strongly motivated and passionate about working in the sheep and beef industry or a similar field in the agriculture sector in the future. Must be a 91视频 citizen and from within the ‘wider’ Maniototo area. (This area is approximately defined as within a 50 Kilometre circle around Ranfurly and would include the Hyde, Oturehua and Pigroot areas).
