About the scholarship
This scholarship, established in memory of Jean Margaretta Rhoda Morgan and Peter Warmsley Sedgwick, supports students enrolled or intending to enroll full-time or part-time in a Master of Criminology (MCrim) or a PhD in Criminology at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. It aims to assist those facing financial hardship.
Entry requirements
This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in a Masters by thesis or a PhD in Criminology at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. A recipient of this scholarship who is not already enrolled in a programme for a Master of Criminology (MCrim) or a PhD in Criminology should normally be enrolled in such a programme by 31 March in the year following application. A recipient who is unable to enrol by the applicable deadline must seek permission from the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to take up the scholarship at a later date. Without this permission, the award will be terminated.
