About the scholarship
This scholarship was established to encourage students to continue their studies in Classics. It is aimed at full-time students majoring in Classical Studies, Latin, or Greek, who are intending to enrol in their second or third year of undergraduate study, or studying towards an Honours degree in one of the above subjects.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be current full-time students at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. Applicants must be majoring in Classical Studies, Latin, or Greek. Applicants must be intending to enrol in their second or third year of undergraduate study, or studying towards an Honours degree in one of the above subjects. A completed online application must be submitted by 4.30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4.30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered. Applicants should submit a personal statement detailing their passion and enthusiasm for Classics, and outlining the impact that the scholarship will have on them. Applicants intending to enrol in an Honours degree should provide an overview of their proposed thesis. Complete the Financial Information section in the application.
