About the scholarship
A Prize for the highest quality research project in Education in SUMRESCH 301. The Prize was established in 2021 and is jointly funded by the Old A's (Retired) Association and the North Shore Teachers' College Trust Board Fund. The Old A's was a teachers' alumni association founded in 1908 at the Auckland Teachers' College, forerunner to the Auckland College of Education and the Faculty of Education and Social Work. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward excellence from a Summer Research Scholar in the Faculty of Arts and Education who aspires to a career in teaching.
