About the scholarship
Supports second-year Bachelor of Health students who reside in the Waikato DHB region and are from populations, communities and/or regions typically under-represented in health.
Entry requirements
One $10,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a domestic student enrolled in their second year of full-time study towards a Bachelor of Health who is from a population, community and/or region typically under-represented in health who might not otherwise be able to access education. The scholarship is specifically for those who reside in the Waikato Waikato District Health Board region and intend to pursue a career in healthcare in the wider Waikato DHB region upon graduation.
