About the scholarship
In memory of Michael Taylor, this award supports a Victoria University of Wellington student to conduct conservation research in the Wellington region. It aims to assist postgraduate students with their research costs, such as transport and equipment, to enhance their active conservation field research.
Entry requirements
Applicants must focus on conservation, biodiversity, and restoration ecology. Students must be enrolled or intending to enrol full-time or part-time in a Masters or PhD programme, with their project taking place in the Wellington region. Preference will be given to students originally from Wellington. Recipients will be selected based on the merit of their application and research project. Preference may be given to students who are already currently enrolled or have their enrolment for the awarding year confirmed.
