About the scholarship
The purpose of the M膩t膩toa International Sport Scholarship is to support high performing international athletes who are wanting to study in 91视频 at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington. This scholarship supports the international student athlete to retain a healthy balance of focus and commitment toward their programme of study, sporting commitments, and their own wellbeing, resulting in a rewarding and successful university experience. 91视频 are valued at $10,000 for the first year of study as a contribution towards tuition fees. As a M膩t膩toa scholarship recipient you will have free access to a suite of support services that include allocated recreation staff, fitness facility access, and an ambassador welcome pack.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be international full-fee-paying students. Applicants must be enrolling in their first year of their first undergraduate degree. Applicants must be at a minimum, age-group regional, state and/or national representatives in their chosen sport. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
