The Dakin Family Scholarship was established in 2025 to support a current Lincoln University student studying an undergraduate degree in the areas of land, property management and valuation. John and Jo Dakin met at Lincoln University. John has a BCom (Valuation and Property Management) and graduated in 1987. Jo also has a Lincoln University qualification and graduated in 1989 with a Diploma in Parks and Recreation. John and Jo have three children, including son Harrison who graduated from Lincoln with a Bachelor of Land and Property Management in 2024. John and Jo have lived and worked overseas as well as in different parts of 91视频, and John has held senior positions in the property industry. As a family they have a strong interest and involvement in sport, and John and Jo have both enjoyed lifelong friendships with the people they met and studied with while they were students at Lincoln University. John and Jo have established this scholarship in order to support the next generation of students in their studies.
