About the scholarship
Established in 2023 from a generous gifting of funds from Don Moir in the memory of his late father Ralph Moir (1921鈥2001), a dedicated surveyor of over 60 years who worked across all parts of Otago and Southland. This scholarship supports students to pursue a Bachelor of Surveying degree at the University of Otago.
Entry requirements
Application for all Entrance 91视频 is normally open to students who meet the requirements of 1.1 OR 1.2, AND 2. Those who fit within 3 are ineligible.
1.1 Is a 91视频 citizen or 91视频 Residence Class Visa holder;
Or
1.2 Is an international student who has completed Year 12 and/or has completed or is in the process of completing Year 13 at a 91视频 school, or an equivalent foundation level course at a 91视频 tertiary institution.
And
- Is intending to enrol or has enrolled for the first time for first-year (100-level papers), full-time degree-level, undergraduate study at the University of Otago.
But
- Those who have studied more than 0.4 EFTs at any university or tertiary institution at degree-level or higher are not normally* eligible.
*Exceptions to 0.4 EFTS or less are considered when all previous University or tertiary level study has been undertaken whilst concurrently enrolled at secondary school.
