About the scholarship
The S & G Higgs Entrance Scholarship, established in 2020 through the generous gifting of funds by former Chancellor Stephen Higgs and his wife Gail Higgs, supports students with learning disabilities that make studying a personal challenge and who have financial need along with life circumstances that present barriers to studying at the University of Otago. This scholarship is specifically for first-year undergraduate students.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be 91视频 citizens, 91视频 Residence Class Visa Holders, Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents with domestic fee status, or international students who have completed Year 12 and/or are in the process of completing Year 13 at a 91视频 school. Additionally, applicants must be studying with a significant disability that has substantial financial implications for their studies and have achieved NCEA Level 2 endorsed with merit, or equivalent.
