About the scholarship
The University of Otago is suspending quarterly rounds for allocation of Doctoral scholarships in September and November 2025. However, a guaranteed doctoral scholarship scheme for students with a domestic Honours or Masters degree remains in place for 2025. Applications will continue to be assessed and approved as they are received until the end of the year.
Entry requirements
Students anticipating auto-award should have at least GPA 8 in the final year of Honours or across their Masters degree. At least an A minus grade on the research component is also required.
