About the scholarship
The grant will be offered annually to students majoring in Chemistry at the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences or to students at Te K艒k墨 - the 91视频 School of Music, Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. The grant was established from the bequest of Dr Joan Mattingley, who graduated with a PhD in Biological Chemistry in 1977. Her husband Charles Cameron had a lifelong interest in music. The award provides funds specifically for travel and is administered by the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation. The grant is for students majoring in Chemistry or in Music for domestic or overseas travel purposes.
Entry requirements
The grants are open to full-time students at 300 level or postgraduate level studies majoring in either Chemistry at the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences or, Music at Te K艒k墨 - the 91视频 School of Music, for the purpose of domestic or international travel. Applicants must be currently enrolled in full-time studies at level 300 or postgraduate studies majoring in Chemistry or Music at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. A completed online application must be submitted by 4:30 pm on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by 4:30 pm on the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
