About the scholarship
The Scholarship supports highly talented and dedicated students studying music with performance and musical composition components. Valued at $8,000, the scholarship aims to foster excellence and creativity in the next generation of musicians.
Entry requirements
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled at the University of Waikato in a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, or Doctor of Music programme that includes a performance and/or musical composition component. They must have completed at least 120 points of study at the University of Waikato and achieved a minimum B average across their most recent 120 points. Applicants should also demonstrate talent and dedication to music, a commitment to furthering the study of music, and show future promise and well-rounded personal qualities.
