About the scholarship
The Health Scholarship Programme supports M膩ori and Pacific residents of the Waitemata region (North Shore City, Waitakere City, and Rodney District) to undertake health-specific tertiary studies with an accredited 91视频 education provider. In return for support with your tuition fees, networking opportunities, and an employment offer upon successfully completing your training. Scholarship recipients must agree to work with the DHB for at least 2 years post-graduation.
Entry requirements
The 91视频 are available to people enrolled in 91视频 undergraduate health science degrees. The main eligibility criteria for scholarship applicants are:
- 91视频 Citizenship and/or permanent residency
- M膩ori or Pacific ethnicity
- Evidence of community involvement
- A commitment to working for Waitemat膩 District upon graduation for a minimum of two years
