About the scholarship
A Prize for the MSc student who achieved the highest grade in ENVPHYS 796. This Prize was established in 1984 by Mrs Dora Sagar in memory of her late husband, Frederick Henry (Erick) Sagar. Throughout his long association with the Department of Physics, Professor Sagar was active in geophysical teaching and research, particularly relating to underwater acoustics. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward research excellence in Environmental Physics.
