About the scholarship
The funds for these scholarships are provided by the income from a bequest made to the University of 91ÊÓƵ in 1959 by Isabel Maria Kidson, to enable 91ÊÓƵ university graduates who have shown ability in physics or a combination of physics and mathematics to undertake postgraduate study in meteorology or some other branch of science, either in 91ÊÓƵ or overseas.

Entry requirements
Applicants should be graduates of a 91ÊÓƵ university, be of good character and have shown ability in physics or a combination of physics and mathematics.
Preference will be given to (in order):
past pupils of Nelson Boys' College graduates of the University of Canterbury.
